Working towards a National Rehabilitation Centre
We've all got our own personal goals for this ride, but what brought us together in the first place is our shared commitment to raising money for The Children's Trust.
We have given ourselves a fund-raising target of £50,000 to go towards the creation of two new houses and a hydrotherapy pool for the rehabilitation of children with acquired brain injury.
The new state-of-the art National Rehabilitation Centre will allow them to increase the number of children and families they can help. The new houses will provide them with room for 22 children, as well as a flat to accommodate a whole family. It's a massive project, and they need to raise over £7 million in order to complete it.
